Day 1 Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, your private driver-guide will welcome you, assist with luggage, and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. This day is dedicated to rest and recovery after your international flight.

Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy an optional city tour of Arusha — visiting local markets, craft shops, and cultural centers — or simply relax at your accommodation. In the evening, your guide will deliver a detailed safari briefing covering the journey ahead, routes, wildlife expectations, and safety guidelines.

Day 2 Arusha → Mkomazi National Park – Rhino & Wild Dog Sanctuary

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive toward Mkomazi National Park — a remote and less-crowded wilderness near the Pare and Usambara mountain ranges. Enjoy scenic views of rolling landscapes and open savannahs as you approach.

Upon arrival, begin your first game drive in this unique conservation area, famous for its successful protection of endangered black rhinos and African wild dogs. The park also hosts giraffes, zebras, elephants, buffalo, antelopes, lions, leopards, and over 450 bird species.

Day 3 Full Day Mkomazi – Walking Safari & Birdwatching

Experience Mkomazi in a deeper and more immersive way through a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed park ranger. Explore the ecosystem at ground level — observing wildlife behavior, animal tracks, and bird species up close across open plains and river valleys.

Mkomazi is home to over 450 bird species including martial eagles, kori bustards, ostriches, and migratory birds from Europe and Asia. In the afternoon, continue with a game drive or relax at the lodge before dinner and overnight stay in the wilderness.

Day 4 Materuni Waterfalls & Chagga Coffee Cultural Experience

After breakfast, travel to the lush foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and Materuni Village — home of the Chagga people. A guided hike through tropical vegetation, banana plantations, and coffee farms leads to the spectacular Materuni Waterfalls, which cascade from a high cliff into a natural pool surrounded by rainforest.

After enjoying the scenery and optional swimming, return to the village for a traditional coffee experience — participating in the full bean-to-cup process. Enjoy a local Chagga lunch prepared by villagers before transferring to Moshi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Tarangire National Park – Elephant Kingdom

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park — one of Tanzania's most scenic and wildlife-rich parks, famous for its large elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive along the Tarangire River, the main water source for wildlife during dry seasons.

Day 6 Full Day Exploration – Tarangire National Park

A full day exploring the hidden corners of Tarangire, including remote areas like the Silale Swamps — which attract large elephant herds, buffalo, zebras, lions, leopards, and even tree-climbing pythons. The swamp ecosystem supports a wide range of bird species as well.

Day 7 Southern Serengeti – Ndutu Birdwatching Paradise

After breakfast, drive toward the southern Serengeti ecosystem in the Ndutu area within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Equally renowned for its wildebeest calving season and birdwatching excellence, Ndutu hosts over 400 bird species across its open plains, seasonal lakes, woodlands, and swamps.

Day 8 Full Day Ndutu – Birdwatching & Wildlife

A full day exploring the Ndutu region with a focus on birdwatching and wildlife observation. Depending on the season, you may witness the great wildebeest migration and calving activity. The area is rich in birdlife including lovebirds, lapwings, bustards, coucals, and owlets.

Large predators such as lions and cheetahs are commonly seen on the open plains. A full immersive safari day before returning to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9 Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, travel to Central Serengeti — one of the most wildlife-rich regions in Africa. The area is known for its vast plains, predator populations, and the Seronera River Valley. Enjoy game drives searching for lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, and large herds of herbivores.

Birdlife includes storks, hornbills, eagles, and numerous grassland species. This region offers some of the best year-round wildlife viewing in Africa.

Day 10 Full Day Serengeti Game Drive

A full day exploring Central Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Known as the predator capital of Africa, this region offers high chances of seeing lions, leopards, hyenas, and cheetahs. Elephants, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras are also abundant.

Birdwatching remains excellent throughout the day with sightings of raptors, hornbills, storks, and smaller colorful species.

Day 11 Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater Rim

After a morning game drive in the Serengeti, proceed toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey offers scenic views of the highlands and wildlife along the way. Arrive at the crater rim in the evening to relax and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 12 Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Departure

Early in the morning, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site — home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hyenas, wildebeest, and the rare black rhino.

After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha for your airport drop-off, marking the end of your safari adventure.
