Arrival Day: Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your private guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Take time to relax, recover from your journey, and prepare for the adventure ahead. Your guide will brief you on your upcoming safari experience.



We recommend arriving at least one day before the safari begins to ensure a smooth and relaxed start the next day. Your safari adventure will begin from your hotel in Arusha.

 

Day 1: Tarangire National Park – Afternoon Game Drive

Begin your adventure with a morning pickup from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, a sanctuary for elephants and other wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive across its rolling plains dotted with majestic baobabs. Observe lions lounging under shade, giraffes browsing acacia trees, and zebra herds grazing peacefully. In the evening, retreat to your budget lodge or tented camp, and savor dinner amidst the sounds of the wilderness.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Full-Day Game Drive

Wake up to the sounds of the African bush and spend a full day exploring Tarangire’s vast landscapes. Traverse rivers and savannahs in search of elephants, lions, and rare birds. This is your chance to immerse in the park’s quiet beauty, witnessing wildlife up close in its natural habitat. Return to your lodge or camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park + Cultural Walk

Travel to Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Rift Valley escarpments. Enjoy a half-day game drive spotting flamingos along the shimmering lake, tree-climbing lions, hippos, and colorful birdlife. Afterward, experience a guided cultural walk in a nearby village, meeting Maasai locals and learning about their traditions, crafts, and daily life. Overnight at a budget lodge in Mto wa Mbu.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater → Return to Arusha

Head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a morning game drive inside the crater, one of Africa’s richest wildlife habitats. See lions, elephants, buffalo, and even the elusive black rhino against the dramatic crater backdrop. After a morning of wildlife viewing, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening to conclude your safari.
