Day 1 Tarangire National Park

Your guide will pick you up from your Arusha hotel at 8:00 am and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and many bird species.

The Tarangire River attracts large concentrations of animals, especially during the dry season. After the game drive, you will proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you depart for Serengeti National Park, crossing scenic landscapes via the Ngorongoro Highlands. Upon arrival in Central Serengeti, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, home to lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras.

Later in the evening, you head to your camp for dinner and overnight stay in the heart of Serengeti.

Day 3 Central Serengeti → Ndutu Area

Today you travel to the Ndutu region, located in the Southern Serengeti ecosystem, where the great wildebeest migration gathers for calving. This area offers incredible wildlife density, including newborn calves and active predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

The landscape features short grass plains, swamps, and open savannahs. Arrive in time for afternoon game viewing before dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 Full Day — Ndutu Calving Experience

Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu plains during peak calving season. Witness dramatic wildlife interactions as thousands of wildebeest give birth and predators take advantage of the abundance of prey.

Visit Lake Ndutu and surrounding marshlands for diverse game viewing and photography opportunities. Enjoy a full day of game drives with picnic-style lunch in the wilderness.

Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a full game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hyenas, wildebeest, and the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool before ascending the crater and returning to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
