DETAILED ITINERARY

Arrival Day: Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari guide and transferred to your luxury lodge in Arusha. Take time to relax, recover from your journey, and prepare for the adventure ahead. Your guide will brief you on your upcoming safari experience.



We recommend arriving at least one day before the safari begins to ensure a smooth and relaxed start the next day. Your safari adventure will begin from your hotel in Arusha.

 

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Begin your safari with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a leisurely game drive through the park, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and abundant birdlife.

In the evening, arrive at your luxury lodge, where refined comfort, excellent cuisine, and stunning views set the tone for your journey.

Day 2: Central Serengeti

After breakfast, travel to the Central Serengeti, where the vast plains stretch endlessly into the horizon. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, encountering predators such as lions and cheetahs, alongside herds of wildebeest and zebras. Overnight at a luxury tented camp or lodge, offering an immersive yet comfortable wilderness experience.

Day 3: Central → Northern Serengeti (Migration Tracking)

Today,  journey north toward the Northern Serengeti, following the movement of the Great Migration. As you travel, wildlife sightings unfold along the way, with opportunities to witness predators and herds in motion. Arrive in the north by afternoon and settle into your luxury camp near the Mara River, positioning you perfectly for the next day’s migration experience.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti – Mara River Crossing Experience

Spend a full day in the Northern Serengeti, one of the best locations to witness the dramatic Mara River crossings. Watch as thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather at the riverbanks, building tension before crossing crocodile-filled waters.

This is one of nature’s most powerful spectacles – raw, unpredictable, and unforgettable. Return to your luxury camp for a relaxing evening under the African sky.

Day 5: Northern → Central Serengeti

After breakfast, begin your journey back to the Central Serengeti, enjoying game drives along the way. This transition offers more opportunities to encounter wildlife across different ecosystems including allowing a final glimpse of the Great Migration

Arrive in the central region for dinner and overnight at your luxury lodge or tented camp.

Day 6: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After a hearty breakfast, we depart the Serengeti plains and journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying final game views as we exit the park. The journey offers continuous game viewing as the landscape gradually transforms from the vast plains of the Serengeti  to the misty highlands of the Crater rim.

Arrive by afternoon at your luxury lodge on or near the crater rim, where you can enjoy breathtaking views and a glimpse of the remarkable experience awaiting you the next day.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive in one of Africa’s richest wildlife habitats. Lions, elephants, buffalo, and black rhinos roam freely within this natural amphitheater.

After an unforgettable morning, ascend the crater and return to your lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 8: Lake Manyara → Arusha

On your final day, visit Lake Manyara National Park, set beneath the dramatic Rift Valley escarpments. Enjoy a game drive through its lush forests and lakeshore, spotting flamingos, hippos, and diverse birdlife.

Later on, drive back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon, marking the end of your luxury migration safari.
