Arrival Day: Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari guide and transferred to your carefully selected lodge in Arusha.

Take time to relax, recover from your journey, and settle into the surroundings. Your guide will provide a short briefing about your upcoming safari experience.

We recommend arriving at least one day before the safari begins to ensure a smooth and relaxed start. Your safari adventure will begin from your hotel in Arusha the following day.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park – A Gentle Introduction

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and journey to Tarangire National Park, where towering baobab trees and vast savannahs set the scene for your safari adventure.

Enjoy a relaxed game drive with opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Frequent stops allow time to stretch, take photos, and enjoy the experience at a comfortable pace—ideal for families.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Forest & Lakeside Wildlife

Travel to Lake Manyara National Park, beautifully set below the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment.

Explore the park’s lush groundwater forest and open lakeshore, home to monkeys, hippos, flamingos, and a variety of birdlife. The diverse landscape makes this a visually rich and engaging day for all ages.

In the afternoon, enjoy a guided cultural walk in Mto wa Mbu village, where families can interact with local communities and experience traditional life.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Highlands – Scenic Retreat

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Into the Wild

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive in one of Africa’s most unique wildlife environments.

The crater floor offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, elephants, buffalo, and a wide variety of other species in a compact and accessible setting—perfect for family viewing.

After the game drive, return to your lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 5: Return to Arusha

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the early afternoon.
