Upon arrival in Tanzania, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the city and visit attractions such as the Cultural Heritage Centre, Maasai Market, Lake Duluti, or Meru Waterfalls.
This first day is designed for relaxation after your journey, allowing you to prepare for the safari adventure ahead.
After breakfast, you begin your safari with a drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees that dominate the landscape. During your game drive, you may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, and numerous bird species.
The Tarangire River attracts wildlife year-round, making it a reliable location for game viewing. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive.
After breakfast, you depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a short scenic stop at the crater viewpoint. The journey continues across varied landscapes until you reach Naabi Hill Gate, where your Serengeti adventure officially begins.
The afternoon is spent on a game drive in Central Serengeti, a region known for its high concentration of predators and large herds of herbivores. As the sun sets over the plains, you arrive at your camp for dinner and overnight.
You start the day with an early morning game drive in Central Serengeti, where predators are most active. Later, you continue toward the Northern Serengeti, the heart of the Great Migration.
Upon arrival, you enjoy a game drive along the Mara River area, where thousands of wildebeest gather and attempt dramatic river crossings, often facing crocodiles and predators waiting along the banks.
Today is fully dedicated to exploring the Mara River region. Early morning game drives offer opportunities to witness river crossings and predator action, including crocodiles and big cats hunting along the migration route.
You will spend most of the day following the movement of the herds and enjoying a bush brunch surrounded by the wilderness. In the afternoon, you return toward Central Serengeti with an en-route game drive.
After an early breakfast, you depart for Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations. You descend into the crater floor for a full-day game drive. The crater hosts an incredible density of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and the rare black rhino.
After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, you continue exploring before ascending the crater walls and heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you visit Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. The park is known for its rich birdlife, including flamingos and over 400 bird species, as well as baboons, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and zebras. With some luck, you may spot the famous tree-climbing lions.
After a picnic lunch, you continue your game drive before exiting the park and driving back to Arusha for overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport at your scheduled time for your departure flight. This marks the end of your safari adventure in Tanzania.
